Radiodetection FlexiTrace 50 m | Traceable Pipe & Duct Rod

Trace the route of a suitable non-metallic pipe or locate the rod tip using an energised conductive rod. This 50 m FlexiTrace needs a compatible signal generator and locator. It is different from a plain push rod.

Trace the rod route or locate its tip

FlexiTrace combines conductors running through the rod with a transmitting tip. The transmitter connection determines whether you trace the length or locate the tip. Follow the manufacturer connection method and receiver instructions; the rod does not transmit a useful signal on its own.

Choose length around the real route

The 50 m option suits routes within its usable reach. Consider access, bends, pushing resistance and available pipe diameter rather than assuming the entire nominal length can be inserted on every job. For a longer option compare FlexiTrace 80 m. For carrying a separate sonde, a plain Flexrod is a different type of product.

Choose the compatible CAT4 locator

Energise the rod with a suitable Genny connection, then use a compatible receiver. For core route tracing, compare the new CAT4 or refurbished CAT4. For estimated depth in Genny mode, compare the new CAT4+ and refurbished CAT4+. If your team also needs usage and location records, compare the new gCAT4+ and refurbished gCAT4+. New or refurbished condition does not add a feature that the locator model lacks.

Build a compatible locating system

Match the transmitter, receiver, signal frequency and mechanical connection to the application. Use compatible equipment together and follow the manufacturer instructions and your site’s safe system of work.
