Put a usable signal onto the target utility
The Tx10 applies a traceable signal to a suitable buried cable or conductive pipe. Direct connection, clamp application and induction provide different ways to establish the signal for a compatible receiver.
Select the frequency and output for the connection and service. More transmitter power does not guarantee a locating distance or remove the need to investigate signal distortion.
Match the receiver and locating task
Use RD7200 for general precision locating or RD8200 when its broader frequency and Current Direction functions suit the task. Current Direction requires a CD-capable receiver and the matching CD signal.
Direct connection, clamp and fault finding
The transmitter connection kit brings together a direct lead, earth reel, earth stake and magnet. A 100 mm transmitter clamp provides clamp signal application. The A-Frame requires both receiver and transmitter to support Fault Find.

Is this a receiver?
No. This is a signal transmitter. A compatible receiver detects the signal along the utility; it is a separate instrument.
Does higher output guarantee a deeper locate?
No. Results depend on the utility, connection, frequency, ground conditions, interference and receiver. Use an appropriate output and compare the response.
Can it support A-Frame fault finding?
Yes, with the appropriate fault-find signal, a compatible fault-find receiver and the A-Frame. Current Direction also requires a CD-capable receiver.
