Longer mechanical reach for sonde insertion

The 120 m Flexrod carries a suitable sonde through a route that can accept the rod and complete coupling assembly. It provides pushing reach rather than generating a locating signal. A compatible sonde and receiver are separate parts of the locating system.

Choose length without overlooking bends and access

Nominal reel length does not establish the distance you can push in a particular pipe. Check access, bends, diameter and resistance. If 60 m is sufficient, compare the shorter Flexrod; if you need the entire rod route to carry an applied signal, compare FlexiTrace instead.

Choose the compatible CAT4 locator

Attach a compatible sonde using the correct coupling; the separate receiver detects the sonde. For core route tracing, compare the new CAT4 or refurbished CAT4. For estimated depth in Genny mode, compare the new CAT4+ and refurbished CAT4+. If your team also needs usage and location records, compare the new gCAT4+ and refurbished gCAT4+. New or refurbished condition does not add a feature that the locator model lacks.

Build a compatible locating system

Match the transmitter, receiver, signal frequency and mechanical connection to the application. Use compatible equipment together and follow the manufacturer instructions and your site’s safe system of work.
