Magnetic Locators

A magnetic locator finds buried ferrous (iron and steel) objects that a standard cable locator overlooks: manhole covers under tarmac, valve and stop-tap boxes, survey pins, septic-tank lids and steel drums. It senses the object's own magnetic field, so it needs no applied signal and no connection.
