Radiodetection S6 Microsonde Kit

The S6 MicroSonde is an ultra-compact transmitter, specifically designed to enable operators to trace and identify blockages in very small buried pipes and ducting. With its small 6.4mm (0.25") diameter, it is battery-operated and transmits at a 33kHz frequency. The S6 MicroSonde can be affixed to a cable or push rod and inserted into the duct or pipe. Its route can be traced using a Radiodetection locator, allowing for precise determination of both the location and depth of any blockage.

Equipped with a Lithium Ion battery, the sonde typically provides around 10 hours of usage, though this duration may be reduced in colder conditions. The sonde is activated automatically when the battery is inserted and the mounting connector is in place, emitting a continuous locate signal. An LED at the S6's tip flashes slowly when powered on, and will turn off to indicate low battery, although the sonde may continue to function until the battery is fully depleted. Once in place within a duct, the sonde aids in mapping the duct's route or pinpointing the exact position of a blockage.

Included in the S6 MicroSonde kit are the sonde, a flexible adaptor, two batteries, a case, and a mounting connector.
