Radiodetection FlexiTrace 80 m | Traceable Pipe & Duct Rod

Choose the longer FlexiTrace option for accessible pipe or duct routes beyond the 50 m reel’s reach. Its conductive rod and transmitting tip work with a compatible external transmitter and locator for line tracing or tip location.

Longer reach for a traceable rod system

The 80 m FlexiTrace provides more nominal rod length than the 50 m version. It still needs suitable access and a route that can accept the rod: bends, obstructions and pushing resistance determine what is practical. Extra reel length is not a guarantee of extra locating depth.

Use the connection that matches the task

With the correct transmitter connection you can trace the rod route or locate its transmitting tip. Use the manufacturer’s method and the compatible receiver settings. FlexiTrace is not the same as an unenergised Flexrod used to carry a separate sonde.

Choose the compatible CAT4 locator

Energise the rod with a suitable Genny connection, then use a compatible receiver. For core route tracing, compare the new CAT4 or refurbished CAT4. For estimated depth in Genny mode, compare the new CAT4+ and refurbished CAT4+. If your team also needs usage and location records, compare the new gCAT4+ and refurbished gCAT4+. New or refurbished condition does not add a feature that the locator model lacks.

Build a compatible locating system

Match the transmitter, receiver, signal frequency and mechanical connection to the application. Use compatible equipment together and follow the manufacturer instructions and your site’s safe system of work.

Compare the new CAT4 and Genny4 kit with bag or refurbished CAT4 and Genny4 kit. For estimated depth, consider the CAT4+ and Genny4 kit; for usage and location records, consider the gCAT4+ and Genny4 kit. Review the included items first so you only add accessories you need.
