The device features a versatile range of detection modes, including Power, Radio, and the comprehensive AllScan mode, which captures frequencies from the lowest power signals up to 33kHz in a single sweep.
Depth measurement is activated by a simple push-button interface when used alongside a signal generator like the SGA Genny. The system displays the precise depth of the buried utility, providing instant accuracy to assist in preventing accidental strikes during excavation.
The AllScan mode monitors all signal frequencies simultaneously, from low-frequency power to 33kHz. This all-in-one detection capability allows operators to identify unusual or weak signals that might be missed in conventional Power or Radio modes, significantly increasing the speed of site surveys.
The DXL offers Power mode for detecting live electrical cables, Radio mode for re-radiated signals on metallic pipes, and Generator mode for signals applied directly via a Genny. It is also compatible with a C.Scope Sonde for the precise tracing of non-metallic pipes.
