New Radiodetection CD and CM receiving clamp for investigating an individual utility’s signal and current response through a compatible precision locator. Current Direction requires a CD-capable receiver and the appropriate transmitter signal. Current measurement and Current Direction are different functions. This clamp connects to the receiver; it does not apply a locating signal. Choose the receiving accessory and signal setup that support the investigation.

Use with a compatible locating system

For an applied locating signal, compare Tx5 and Tx10. A transmitter and receiver perform different jobs; this accessory does not replace either instrument.

No. This is a receiving accessory connected to the locator. Use a separate transmitter and appropriate signal-application method.

What is needed for Current Direction?

A CD-capable receiver and an appropriate Tx10 CD signal are required for directional information. Current measurement alone is a different function.
