A carry option for the handheld locator

This soft bag is for a CAT4 or CAT3 handheld locator carried separately from the Genny and connection accessories. For combined locator-and-transmitter storage, choose the CAT-and-Genny kit bag.

Avoid buying the wrong bag size

The single-locator bag and CAT-and-Genny bag serve different storage needs. Choose around the equipment you actually carry, rather than assuming that every bag in the range takes both instruments. A bag is not a substitute for the manufacturer storage, cleaning or servicing instructions.

Choose the compatible CAT4 locator

Choose the locator you need to carry, checking the actual bag fit and capacity. For core route tracing, compare the new CAT4 or refurbished CAT4. For estimated depth in Genny mode, compare the new CAT4+ and refurbished CAT4+. If your team also needs usage and location records, compare the new gCAT4+ and refurbished gCAT4+. New or refurbished condition does not add a feature that the locator model lacks.

Build a compatible locating system

Match the transmitter, receiver, signal frequency and mechanical connection to the application. Use compatible equipment together and follow the manufacturer instructions and your site’s safe system of work.
