The C.Scope YIRS-512 512Hz Metal Pipe Sonde is specifically engineered for identifying obstructions or specific features within metal pipes. It achieves this by emitting an ultra-low 512Hz frequency signal, which is uniquely capable of penetrating metal and reaching a C.Scope MXL4 Cable Locator up to a distance of 5 meters, depending on the thickness of the pipe walls. Given that the C.Scope YIRS-512 is designed to be inserted into gas and water pipes, it is encased in a plastic shell with an IP68 rating, ensuring protection against harmful ingress.
