Leica Midi Sonde 8kHz and 33kHz

This compact dual frequency Sonde is designed for tracing drains, sewers, and other non-conductive utilities. It functions as a signal transmitter and is compatible with various types of equipment, such as drain rods, boring tools, and inspection cameras.

Usage Scenarios:

By attaching the Sonde to a rod or a similar tool, it can be inserted and navigated through the utility being examined. When used in conjunction with an EZiCAT cable locator, the Sonde enables the tracing of pipes that don't naturally emit a signal or cannot have a signal applied to them, like plastic pipes.

The Sonde is versatile, operating in both 8kHz and 33kHz modes, with a color-flashing feature for easy mode identification, enhancing its simplicity and user-friendliness.

Ideal Uses of the Dual Frequency Sonde Include:

• Tracing the route of a pipe or drain.
• Detecting blockages or collapses within drains.
• Locating or tracing non-metallic pipes that lack inherent signal emission.

The Sonde has a maximum depth range of up to 5 meters.
