The vCam-6 HD inspection system from Vivax-Metrotech gives you the flexibility to cover a range of inspections including municipal collection systems, residential plumbing, indoor commercial lines, and lateral lines from three inches up to eight inches in diameter.
The vCam-6 camera systems use the latest technology packaged in a rugged, lightweight, compact profile made specifically for the harsh conditions related to sewer lateral inspections. All Vivax-Metrotech camera systems are backed up by a full one-year warranty, on-site training, and local support through our dealer network.

Reel
Type CP - Standard
The standard reel is designed and built wide enough to roll without tipping but slim enough to go through doorways and gates. - all stainless steel construction and includes friction and locking brakes. The control module can be mounted on this reel for easy viewing.

Locatable Rod
The reels include a built-in tab for the purpose of locating. Simply attach your Vivax-Metrotech locator transmitter red lead to tab, and black lead to the ground stake, then use the locator receiver to locate the path of the entire pushrod. This feature can assist with locating non-metallic sewer lines.
D46-C Camera
The D46-C self-leveling colour HD 9High Definition 1080p) camera, 1.8" (46mm) diameter is designed for 4" - 8" pipe and 12" pipe with the optional skid.

Range of Guide Skids for camera heads
A range of skids is available from 2.5-inches in diameter up to 5-inches in diameter.
Type-B Skid with Light Kit
The Type-B Skid is used to keep the camera head centered in pipes and off the floor avoiding debris and obstructions. The Type-B Skid has adjustable settings for use in pipe diameters from When the skid is completely collapsed it can be used in 8¾ pipes. The Type-B Skid works with the D46 and D34 series camera attached to the 12mm termination spring on the Type-CP reel. This adjustable skid works best in straight run applications such as running from manhole to manhole. An optional light kit is available to provide additional lighting in larger pipes.
Reel Drip Bags
Use the durable nylon material drip bags when entering a building, home or other clean areas. Use the drip bags to ensure that any moisture or debris will not fall from the reels pushrod onto a clean surface.
Rotate and Tilt Table
The Rotate and Tilt Table (RATT) - mounts between the Type-CP reel and the vCam-6 control module. The RATT adds the flexibility to position the control module to a comfortable viewing angle.
