Optional GENNY4 Signal Generator

While the eCAT4 + CalSafe is a dynamo by itself, its capabilities are substantially extended with the separately available GENNY4 Signal Generator. The GENNY4 enhances eCAT4 + CalSafe's features by offering a dual-frequency locate signal. It maintains the standard 33 kHz frequency for general utility locates while introducing a higher frequency specifically engineered to detect smaller utilities like telecom cables and street lamps. If you encounter challenging terrains, GENNY4’s power boost function ensures that the locate signal travels further and more deeply, coupling onto utilities effortlessly.

Service Due Indicator and CALSafe™

Mitigate the risk of postponing a survey due to an expired calibration on an eCAT4 + CalSafe device. The optional CALSafe feature can be configured to restrict the device's operation beyond the calibration expiration date, thereby aligning with organizational policies. Additionally, the time span between required maintenance services can be individually adjusted up to a one-year period through the Locator Management Software.
